Tiny Yellow Monsters ;)

PS...i love you!!
That is the reason i had to encounter the YELLOW monsters(Chennai Rick)....and one of the most adventurous trip we had... so much of adventure that we had to pray to God in the filmy style ke..."please God ...no more adventures ..."

The Targets of the visit - 3 days of stay...2 cities to explore.....3 hotels to be switched....packing and unpacking over and again.....2 movies to watch...bike ride ..saree shopping for moms....set of friends to meet.....& all with PS and GPS... :)

Well....so much in hand...3 days and 3 nights...and this is how it worked out...

Starts with a sweet note of PS( husband) receiving a joyful me at the airport with this BANNER- ;)

WELCOME TO CHENNAI

OUR day 1 of visit to Chennai where PS is deputed for couple of months and we catch up for some timepass. ....

 The 1st day was blessed with a BIKE ( thanks to our  brother :))where we dint have to face any tiny yellow monster..rather...kicking off with mouth watering breakfast at ...Saravana bhavan.....

...roaming the whole city on the bike.......watched the much awaited-Xmen where I was thrilled althrough the movie with my best company- PS....Saree shoping in the shop with the best Air cooling faclility at one  Tnagar  for 3hours and ended the way planning for pondicherry trip for another 2  hours ;) and lunching the staple food of CHennai - KFC (you see more KFC's than Saravana BHavans;) )

The evening was the best.....Our hunt for an AC bus to POndi.... WE were guided by local experts that the frequency of POndi buses were like Westernline Locals(fast frequency)...well it turned out like Thane- Belapur Locals ( One every Hour)...phew...this was the first episode where we had planned a check in in Pondi followed with a swim in the pool and a fancy dinner....it ended up in a Non AC bus with non-deo Uncles sitting by PS's side on the last seat of the bus :)

Good morning Pondi....starts Day 2 of Pondicherry....Starts with the bike drive to explore the sight seeing first...where we covered the Aurowalk(a kilometre walk in 40 degree celsius) to see the Auro globe to gain Inner peace.....though I dint gain Inner peace, I lost all peace I had till then...!!

 Next was the adventurous hunt for a nonveg AC restaurant. After the drenching walk....we found none...we went into one with a fan but.....thanks to the chilled drinks and the food, the lunch was awesome.....

Going on was the sea gliding beach...followed with the street of Auro ashram and awesome french designed buildings on the Promenade....The day was  completed with a dip in the pool.....followed with an Amazing dinner....on the beach front...A lovely romantic one I would say :) 

AND here comes the DAY.....ANother morning in Pondi and there we go with a quick breakfast and....... we returned our bike and after another 3 hour long saree shopping ....and ....we had to rely on a kind Yellow and Green colored with a black back and 3 legged creature which charged 3 times than that of an auto in Mumbai.....thats 150 for a 50 rupees ride....!!

Next is the trip from the Hotel to the AC bus stand for another 200...cheaper or rather genuine we felt since we and the luggage there was almost 100 kg luggage with us.......

WE wait for the bus...& after an elaborate meal of the driver the .....bus ride was amazing as the SUN GOd was glazing only on my side the whole three hours and PS had a guy with a WET towel sitting next to him.....and to the end of it...we were warned about our stop just as the bus passed it...We somehow managed to step out into the middle of the highway spraining my ankle and with the loaded luggage...here comes our lookout for the next HERO...

HE is the decent guy who was charging 100 for a distance of 30 and we had to agree since we are now used to the rates...TAKEN!! WE had to next reach PS's French society(Guest House designed in French style and a most amazing society where we are planning to shift in case PS gets a permanent trasfer der ;)) and we got the next Monster after waiting for an hour for 300 rupees...Well this was need and urge and  at that moment ....I missed the Black and Yellow Taxis of Mumbai like more than Imiss PS :( FInally the Rick we got was slower than a Bullock Cart...I was so frustrated & the Rickwala was lucky I dint know to drive a rick...else I was planning to kick him and start driving myself.....

WE reach the HOTEL ...we need to change and leave in 5 mins exactly as we had a movie to catch...We were late so had no choice and we fell for another 100....for a 40 rupees ride...

 All tough times ends Well....THe movie.."Banglore Days" was good and I loved the malayalis at CHennai...they appreciate every actor on screen with claps and whistles :D and we had a good dinner at famous Paramount restaurant  and back to the monster.....He says its 200 this time as it is night and it has crossed 11pm....He took us through the wrong and longest routes possible and ....Once we reached ....he demanded more..this time no regret.....PS fought and I fought....we cried out our pain of spending more than 1000 rupees for painful travel...or rather for the unaccounted prices and the way these monsters have made this place bad.....WELL...his luck of gaining more dint work this time and he left....!!

The place is good....people are good.....Technology is well appreciated but why you hurt your fellow people and what are you gaining you monsters.....any good???? you still live in your rags....!!

For us this trip beyond all this.... was a memorable one in its best way and.............. with PS's company -ALL is WELL!!!
